About the event

Join our community of parents who get your struggles. In each session, we will practice mindfulness and stress release tools, review and practice self-care and communication skills, and open the floor for parents to share wins and challenges as well as receive live coaching with our expert Mindful Parenting coach. Whether you're curious about how Mindful Parenting can help improve your relationships with your kids and increase harmony at home, or you've taken the Mindful Parenting Course and want to keep your skills sharp, this practice group is for you.

In the spirit of dana (the Pali word for generosity), we offer these Mindful Parenting Practice Groups freely. Your support makes it possible for us to provide the practice groups to parents who would not be able to pay a set ticket price. Please consider offering the highest amount you can afford to attend this session. You may decide each time you attend how much you are able to offer that day.

What to Expect:

  • Engage in a relaxing mindfulness practice to release tension and improve clarity and focus.
  • Participate in a brief lesson and skills practice session with a powerful Mindful Parenting tool.
  • Receive personalized coaching within a supportive group setting.
  • Connect with other parents, sharing experiences and insights.

What Is Mindful Parenting?

Parenting is fundamentally about how we respond to our children in each moment. Mindful Parenting is the process of intentionally bringing awareness and compassion to each moment and cultivating loving speech and deep listening to promote better relationships in the family. The coaching group is based on two main practices: 1) Mindfulness, which helps us regulate our stress response and become calmer and less reactive; and 2) Skillful Communication, which allows us to speak lovingly and effectively in a way our children can hear us.
